Kingdom Market is a newer darknet market that has been around since April 2021 but was only recently vetted for listing on Dread, the pre-eminent forum for markets on the dark web. It features a unique site design that is unlike any other market yet still intuitive and easy to use. Conspicuously absent are some preferred features, such as the lack of per order (direct pay) purchases, a multisig option for BTC payments, and forced PGP encryption for communications. It makes up for this with some enhanced security and user safety features, helping users to assure they are not getting phished.

The entry captcha for Kingdom Market, however, seems a bit overly burdensome and makes Dread’s captchas look like child’s play. It may even be enough to discourage some visitors altogether. However, once you get used to it, it becomes a little more tolerable – kind of like anything that requires a learning curve. The vendor application process is fair and straightforward, as is the general account creation process. Kingdom Market has made tremendous strides toward meeting the needs of its users recently and seems to be poised for significant growth in the near future.

Product Selection

Kingdom Market has divided their listings into the following categories: Drugs, Services, Security & Hosting, Miscellaneous, Jewelry, Identification, Guides & Tutorials, Fraud, Counterfeit, Software & Malware, and Carded Items. Of the 4,800 or so listings on Kingdom Market, about 1/3 of them are for drugs, 1/3 in Guides & Tutorials, and almost all the rest are for various digital items, mostly pertaining to fraud. Vendors seem to be equally distributed from the world’s major (English-speaking) population centers, and we noticed a decent number of big names maintain a presence there. Several vendors are willing to ship worldwide.

Payment Methods

Kingdom Market uses the traditional account wallet deposit system, which means it is at a higher risk of exit scam / phishing impostors, but it does support four different coins as methods of payment. These include Bitcoin (BTC), Monero (XMR), Litecoin (LTC), and Zcash (ZEC). Encouragingly, several vendors accept all four coins, which is great for those who want to enhance their privacy. One of the few unique payment/ordering systems employed by darknet markets, Kingdom features a “Pony & Orient Express” section where products can be instantly ordered without requiring follow-up from the buyer. This is reminiscent of Finalize Early (FE) except faster and even easier to use.

Kingdom Market Pros

  • Features a novel site design that is easy for novices to use.
  • Supports 4 different cryptos for deposits, including 2 privacy coins.
  • Admins maintain an active presence on Dread w/ decent-sized community.
  • Market appears committed to continually improving itself.

Kingdom Market Cons

  • Central account wallet deposit system (no per order payments or multisig).
  • PGP encryption not enforced.
  • Relatively lax rules make it a bigger target for law enforcement.
  • Captcha system to enter the site is cumbersome.

In all, Kingdom Market combines several new and old darknet market features along with a creative design that makes it a refreshing change from some of the competition currently out there. It is a bit light in listings in traditionally popular categories and glutted with the boring digital listings that can be found anywhere. Kingdom has managed to attract some serious, long-time vendors, however, and appears to be committed to going the distance as far as its operational life is concerned. Buyers can mitigate risk by only depositing enough crypto to cover one order at a time and remembering to always encrypt any sensitive information to be transmitted to other users.
